Our client has developed an outstanding reputation as a high-quality strategic partner to its pharmaceutical clients, providing support with regulatory submissions, market access strategy, clinical publications, medical education and commercialisation. Working collaboratively across functions and capabilities, sharing ideas and outputs to inform and to learn from each other’s experience; providing many opportunities for personal and professional development, our client is now seeking for a talented US Business Director.

Principal Purpose of the Role:

  • Develop and maintain/implement a 5-year business plan in conjunction with the CEO and Operations Director.
  • Lead initiatives that contribute to sustainable growth, with a particular focus on the US marketplace, including identifying growth opportunities and pursuing these appropriately, with support from the Business Development Team, ensuring that clients understand the capabilities of the Group.
  • Support the growth of the US business, identifying and establishing a network of contactors to support initial growth and supporting with the identification and recruitment of potential future staff.
  • Advise the CEO and the Operations Director concerning the most advantageous way to comply with the US rules and regulations for operating in the USA.
  • Provide leadership and management for client accounts, implementing relevant policies and procedures for line reports.
  • Provide technical, scientific and strategic leadership of designated account teams.
  • Assume responsibility for maintaining high-quality client service and delivery, acting as a guardian for designated client relationships.
  • Contribute to resource discussions, planning and forecasting for the US business, and take a lead role in working with the finance team, Operations Director and CEO to report profits for the US business, ultimately contributing to Group profit.
