Our client is on a mission to translate cutting-edge science into simple, easy, accessible to all tools to help people improve their mental health. This digital healthcare start-up combines wearable biosensing technology with cloud-based data analytics and machine learning skills to revolutionize how mental health is detected.
They have created a device to detect activity changes from the interstitial connective tissue to enable monitoring of mental health conditions at the point of care. The system collects data from users-worn sensors, analyses the data and uses AI algorithms to provide behavioural advice tailored to the individual user.
Our client is looking for a result and data-driven COO who will work with an active team to plan, develop, and implement the daily operations. As a COO, you will be calm, driven, set high expectations for yourself and optimistic. You will have good communication and operational skills and strive to add more value to people's life.
You will have extensive experience within the industry and use your understanding and experience in dealing with the practices, policies, and procedures of the health-tech industry to develop more efficient processes and teams. You will be working closely with the CEO, and for the right candidate, there will be Co-Founder opportunities with equity in the business.
Key objectives of this role
• Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving the organizational vision and operational strategy. You must have meaning to the problem they are addressing and the solution they have for it. It is essential that you share the same goals and long-term vision.
• Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth, helping implement operations planning. To succeed as a COO, you should be focused on discovering and experimenting with better tools and systems that build greater efficiencies to make start-ups grow efficiently and effectively.
• Oversee daily operations and productivity, driving a highly inclusive culture.
• Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, and performance management.
